Travel Tip
Copies, copies, copies!!!! Always make at least 3 copies of important travel documents. Keep one set in your bag when traveling, give one set to a trusted travel companion, and leave one set at home with a trusted person (power of attorney or next of kin). Examples of documents to copy include, but aren't limited to, passport, photo ID, credit/debit cards (front and back!), itinerary and flight information, medical insurance card, travelers insurance information.

Get In My Suitcase! Travel Item I Love: Foldable Down Coat
So I thought I would add something new to the blog..."Get In My Suitcase! Travel Item I Love" will feature products that I think are great for travel and everyday life.
One of my coworkers received an awesome North Face down jacket for Christmas. Not only is it lightweight and stylish, it's incredibly warm and folds up into a very small bundle. Of course I wanted one, but the North Face version wasn't in my budget at the time. My sister picked up a less expensive version for me from JCPenney. I've only had it a couple days and am already in love! Is very lightweight but very warm...tag said it would keep me warm up to -4 degrees F! I've worn it for the past couple days and I have to admit I'm impressed. It was pretty cold in Cleveland on Saturday and it kept me very warm. This morning it was cool and rainy. I wore the coat on my walk to work from my apartment (15 min) in the rain and it not only kept me dry, but it dried very quickly when I hung it up. But the best appeal (and why it needs to be in my suitcase) is that it folds up into a little pouch! FABULOUS! Check it out...
